Fillings - a typical day in the life…
First we detect and diagnose cavities using today’s most modern technology
Next we use magnification and clinical tools to isolate and zero in on the cavities
Next we “open" the contact” to determine where exactly the cavities are before removal. The white haze is “demineralized enamel” which you will see lead us to the cavities.
Here is what a cavities looks like under the surface of enamel. This will be completely removed and replaced with white composite filling material.
Here is the other tooth before removing the brown cavity and white demineralized enamel. This whole process usually takes less than 5 minutes.
Here are the teeth after bonding, and filling the voids with composite. Please pardon the dust!
Next up is Implants!
Lost a tooth?
We can now fix it like nothing even happened!
Speaking of front teeth…
Cosmetic fillings make me and my patients smile!
